  • 6. Can you visit the volcanoes by car?

    The volcanoes that are most accessible by car in La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park are Montsacopa (Olot), Santa Margarida (Santa Pau) and Croscat (Santa Pau). All have a free car-park at the start of the footpath, which is the only access up or into the volcanoes.

  • 11. Can you get to the Fageda d'en Jordā by public transport?

    The Olot-Santa Pau bus only operates Monday-Friday (not public holidays). More information at: www.teisa-bus.com
    At the weekend you can only reach the beechwood on foot, by bike, by car or by taxi.

    They leave from the car-park at the Fageda d’en Jordà (4 kilometres from Olot on road to Santa Pau, GI-524).

    The giants only dance twice a year, once at Corpus Christi (May) and then in the festivities of El Tura (September).
