The Fluvià River crosses Olot and its course is part of the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa. It divides the region into two areas: the Alta Garrotxa and the plain of Olot, located to the south of the Fluvià. It has been and is one of the engines of industrialization and is a clear protagonist of life in the city, as it has a refreshing journey that allows discovering flower landscapes, as well as a series of facades of workshops and factories that used water as an authentic motor.

In the vicinity of the River Fluvià there are areas such as Sant Roc or the Prairies of the Mandra, admirable spaces located in urban areas but perfectly reconciled with the most natural corners.
